The Data for Children Collaborative has released a Workbook for Designing Responsible Youth Participation, developed to support the NextGenData initiative led by The Data Tank. This initiative pioneers a new approach to youth engagement in data and service provision.

The workbook is designed to assist organisations in creating youth participation activities that are both meaningful and ethically responsible. It provides guidance on ethical considerations, risk assessment, and the development of thoughtful engagement strategies, ensuring that the voices of young people are heard and valued in the data landscape.
