Data for Children Collaborative’s Deputy Director, Fraser Macdonald, attended Jameel Observatory annual Community of Practice workshop in Nairobi. Based at the International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi, Kenya, the Jameel Observatory for Food Security Early Action is an international partnership led by the University of Edinburgh with the International Livestock Research Institute, Save the Children, the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab and Community Jameel

The two-day event focused on brokering science, knowledge and action to support dryland communities across East Africa. Along with presenting on the Data for Children Impact collaboration process, and discussing future challenges, Fraser met the fantastic collaboration created by Data for Children in 2023. Fraser commented that “it was incredible to see how this transdisciplinary team has come together and grown.”
