Data for Children Collaborative Annual Report 2024: Building a Lasting Impact through Tools, Methods, and a Legacy of Change.
2024 was another year of progress across our portfolio at Data for Children Collaborative. The wide variety of our activities tells a story of how versatile and transferable Data for Children's Collaborative approaches, tools, and methods are. We aim to create a legacy of tools and methods to support our immediate community and many other areas where disciplines and organisations come together to address humanity's wicked problems. The stories in this report capture the rich spectrum of work conducted, from how we facilitate and support transdisciplinary collaboration in our projects to how we create educational tools to give students and partners a glimpse into real-life scenarios.
2024 was a big year for our Responsible Innovation Framework. We were awarded the Best Ethical Data Initiative Award at the 2024 DataIQ Awards. We endeavour to make this suite of resources widely available to as many partners as possible, and this year, we have developed an online version of the toolkit and learning journey. We continue to develop new and improved mechanisms to engage our partners in ethical deliberations through their projects.
This year, we saw growth in the wider adoption of our approaches. Amongst the partners we supported in their journey in addressing complex issues facing children and humanity, were; a global ethical youth engagement initiative, a global child safety institute, the Scottish Government and Master student projects.
We are excited to share with you our work with our incredible partners, and we are forever grateful for our partners' commitment to improve outcomes for children.
