Data for Children Collaborative’s New Home at the Edinburgh Futures Institute
Data for Children Collaborative’s new home at the Edinburgh Futures Institute opens to the public. The Royal Infirmary on Lauriston Place was designed by David Bryce and opened in 1872. During its time in operation, the Royal Infirmary served generations of medic and nursing students from the University of Edinburgh Medical School during their training. Following the Royal Infirmary’s move to Little France in 2017, building work was carried out on the Category A-List building to restore and upgrade it to a futures-focused space for education, research and innovation at the University of Edinburgh.
The Data for Children Collaborative is part of the Edinburgh Futures Institute Innovation ecosystem, which provides space for transdisciplinary data collaborations across sectors.
